19 November 2021, Kati, Mali – Today, Mali announced the launch of country’s first national Zero Malaria Starts with Me campaign, joining the pan-African movement to strengthen local, national, and regional efforts towards a malaria-free Africa. As part of the campaign, all individuals, families, communities, as well as political, business and religious leaders will be urged to make a personal commitment to step up the fight against the disease.

Como parte da campanha, todas as pessoas, famílias e comunidades, bem como os dirigentes políticos, empresariais e religiosos, serão instados a assumir um compromisso pessoal para com a intensificação da luta contra a doença.

2 July 2021, Addis Ababa/Geneva: Today, African countries mark the third anniversary of the Zero Malaria Starts with Me movement. Launched by the African Heads of State and Government in 2018, the campaign is now operational in 20 countries, reinvigorating existing political commitment, accelerating action, mobilizing resources and increasing accountability to eliminate malaria in Africa by 2030.

Geneva, 26 April 2021 – From country and business leaders to sports and cultural stars, new champions across the African continent and beyond joined the Zero Malaria Starts with Me movement this World Malaria Day, the global awareness day

On Thursday the 4th March, 2021, over 80 private sector companies were represented at the virtual Private Sector Roundtable, as part of the Zero Malaria Starts with Me campaign – a Pan-African movement mobilizing all sectors of society to work towards the elimination of malaria by 2030.
